Two Spitfires Mk VB from the 303rd division.

This is a different render using my Spitfire model.
I like the angle in this one even though you can't see all the details that you could see in the previous version (seen from the side).

Inspired by the movie "Battle of Britain" with Michael Caine. Trying to catch a cinematic feeling in this one. The render is 1500px wide so take a look at the full sized version - I think it looks much better than the downsized one.

C4DR10 + BodyPaint3. The model has a single 4096*4096px color map and bump map. The pilot and propeller have their own texture maps. A "fun" detail is that I have used my own face when texturing the pilots face - this is however not visible The background is made up of two 2D planes.
